Pinot Grigio- summer time wine

by Darryl Beeson

Darryl

Pinot Grigio is popular with consumers for several reasons: It is Italian (Italian and California vintners tend to prefer the term Pinot Grigio, producers in France and Oregon usually favor Pinot Gris). When made well,  it's dry, lean, crisp and refreshing, an ideal summer alternative to
full-bodied whites such as chardonnay. Match it with lighter and simpler seafood, grilled chicken and perhaps even vegetarian dishes.
