A deal that won't be offered for another 999 years
The historic Omni Ambassador Past hotel, 1301 N. State Parkway, and its legendary
Pump Room restaurant will be for sale for a private millennium party, offering the host an a[l-inclusive package
featuring the hotel's 275 guestrooms and food and beverages for their guests for two days and two nights for $450,000.
The Millennium Package will also include an unprecedented New Year's Eve bash in the
Pump Room celebrating the golden age with live dancing music, a signature menu created by celebrated chef Martial
Noguier, and private label cigars and champagne for each guest.
The Omni Ambassador East has a star-studded legacy with the "Who's Who"
of the past century creating the hotel's remarkable history of legend and lore. Founded in 1926, the hotel has
played host to such Hollywood luminaries as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Doris Day, Tom Selleck, Richare Gere, Alec
Baldwin and David Letterman, and has been the preferred Chicago home of renowned authors, entertainers, fashion
designers and political and society notables. The hotel, which recently completed a spectacular $20 million restoration,
features 50 luxurious celebrity suites and 235 deluxe guestrooms, world-class amenities and the famed Pump Room
restaurant, all nestled Within Chicago's prestigious Gold Coast district.
The two-night package will be offered for Friday, December 31, 1999 and Saturday,
